Massage - Swedish, Chair, Shiatsu, Deep-tissue: various styles of massage can support your relaxation and recovery.
PNF Stretches - Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation: using muscle contractions and relaxation to improve flexibility and range of motion, reducing pain and tightness.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) - a specialized therapy to relieve swelling that occurs when illness or medical treatment blocks up your lymphatic system. This technique uses gentle touch to manipulate areas of your body that have excess fluid buildup, and move it away from your tissues, toward working lymph vessels and lymph nodes, which helps them rid your body of toxins.
TMJ / Frozen Neck Syndrome - I've developed special techniques to treat frozen neck and TMJ (temporomandibular joint) disorders. A combination of massage, PNF stretches and intra-oral manipulation can improve your comfort, relax your jaw and/or neck and get you feeling more relaxed than you have in a long time.

Who We Are
The Corner Room Massage Studio was founded by Ray Cordell, who retired from the United States Army as a command sergeant major, and later pursued certification in massage therapy. A graduate of the National Holistic Institute, Ray learned Eastern and Western massage techniques as well as Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) stretches. Ray is now also certified in manual lymphatic drainage via the School of MLD, which specializes in the Vodder Method.
We are dedicated to providing exceptional massage therapy services, tailored to your needs at a price that isn't going to break the bank. For us, this is simply about helping people.
